Privacy Policy
This privacy notice is provided pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 – Personal Data Protection Code – and Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. It explains the purposes and methods of processing, and indicates the rights exercisable by those who connect to this website, either directly or via a link from another site, and who browse its pages. This notice concerns only the data collected during connection to the website or navigation within its pages.

2. TYPES OF DATA
CONTACT DATA
Contact data (e.g. name, email address, and any other information voluntarily provided by the user, including that contained in the message body) voluntarily provided by the user on contact pages or via telephone, fax, or postal mail. Providing such data is optional, but failure to provide it will make it impossible for the Controller to handle the user’s requests. The Controller adheres to the principle of data minimization, keeping the data only for the time necessary to handle the request or for a longer period if required for legal protection purposes.
3. METHODS OF PROCESSING
Personal data are mainly processed electronically and digitally by the joint controllers and by other parties, appropriately selected for reliability and competence, who perform instrumental operations strictly related to the use of the website, its services, and the purchase of products through the website (see paragraph “Parties and categories of parties to whom data may be disclosed”).
Personal data will not be transferred outside the European Union to countries that do not ensure an adequate level of protection.
DS MEDIGROUP S.r.l. reserves the right to delete accounts and all related data in the event of detection of unlawful content, content harmful to the image of the controllers or third parties, or content that is offensive or promotes illegal or defamatory activities.
4. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING
The data are processed for the provision of the following services available by accessing our website:
- Registration on the website to use its related services;
- Subscription to specific additional services, such as newsletters;
- Management of information or contact requests.
5. LEGAL BASIS AND CONSEQUENCES OF REFUSAL
Providing data for processing is optional. However, as a result of contractual agreements in place between the joint controllers, if the data are not provided, DS MEDIGROUP S.r.l. will be unable to finalize the contract or relationship to which this notice refers.
Please note that personal data stored in the database will never be disclosed.
The mandatory or optional nature of data provision is specified each time the data are collected, by marking mandatory information with an asterisk (*).
Processing is based on legitimate interest for contact forms and on consent for site registration. The data subject may withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7.3 GDPR).
Refusal to provide data or objection to processing, in whole or in part, may make it impossible to provide the requested services (purpose under point a).
Refusal to use the data for other purposes will have no consequences on the provision of healthcare services.
6. PARTIES AND CATEGORIES OF PARTIES TO WHOM DATA MAY BE DISCLOSED
In general, personal data collected through the website are not disclosed to third parties. To perform the services requested by the user, the Controller may use and disclose data to external companies that carry out activities strictly related and instrumental to the fulfillment and execution of concluded contracts and provided services, such as:
- Archive management;
- Banks for payment processing;
- Tax administrations and other entities to comply with legal obligations;
- Companies and law firms for the protection of contractual rights;
- Professionals for administrative and accounting tasks;
- Postal services;
- Third-party companies for market analysis, marketing, and communication activities.
The processing by these entities is aimed at implementing the instructions received from clients and/or storing data on digital media.
Data may also be communicated to all parties to whom disclosure is required by law.

7. DATA RETENTION PERIOD
User data will be retained by DS MEDIGROUP S.r.l. for the time strictly necessary to ensure proper delivery of the requested services, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable laws, including accounting regulations.
Data transmitted to any service providers will be processed by them only for the duration necessary to perform their assigned tasks.
8. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
Data subjects may exercise against the Controller the rights provided for in Articles 15 et seq. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, including the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning them, to know their content and origin, and the purposes and methods of processing.
They also have the right to verify accuracy, request updates, rectification, or, where interested, integration of the data, as well as deletion, anonymization, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including data that do not need to be retained for the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed.
Data subjects may also object, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of their personal data, even if relevant to the purpose of collection, as well as to processing for direct marketing, advertising, or market research purposes.

10. APPLICABLE LAW
This Privacy Policy is governed by Italian law and by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, concerning the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
